Raphael Varane says that he would relish both Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard joining him at Real Madrid this summer.
Varane recently committed his future to Los Blancos, who are looking to strengthen their squad following a disappointing campaign at home and in Europe.
Pogba and Hazard are among those on their radar and Varane believes both would be good fits for Zinedine Zidane’s side.
‘I can’t say what I talk to (Pogba) about, but any great player has a place at Madrid and he is one,’ he said to Marca about his France team-mate.
‘In Madrid there is a lot of competition. It is a possibility, there is a lot of noise around and we will see in August where he is.’
Belgium star Hazard also looks set to swap the Premier League for La Liga.
He has made it clear he wants to end his seven-year stay at Stamford Bridge and the club are prepared to let him go this summer.
Varane played against the Belgian while they were both in Ligue 1 and he said: ‘I’ve known him since I started at Lens.
‘He is a top player and it’s like I said to explain the case with Pogba, he could also play at Madrid.
‘He is in the best moment of his career with the age and quality he has. When we (France) faced (Belgium) in the World Cup semi-finals we knew we had to have a special plan to stop him.’
