However, it looks like Inter Milan Vice-President Adrian Galliano may want the services of the Swedish striker once again as he went on to announce that the club would like to sign Ibra back to the Italian side.
With Ibra being linked with a move away from the Spanish champions after a under-performing season in 2009-2010, he could very well be likely be making a move away from the club, but it will not be easy.
“It will be very difficult to sign Ibrahimovic, but we will try.” said Galliano to Sky Sport 24.
Barcelona already found another striker to add to the club as they went on to acquire David Villa from Valencia but Ibrahimovic has said before that he wishes to stay at Camp Nou regardless of other offers coming in and will hope to enjoy a much stronger season with the defending champions.
With a number of clubs haven been said to be interested in Ibrahimovic, none have been stronger linked than Serie A side, Inter Milan. Having let go of Mario Balotelli who made his way to Manchester City, Inter Milan could definitely use the 28-year old and have even been said to be willing to exchange Marco Borriello as well to make the deal happen. However, the transfer window is looking to close soon and in order for anything to happen, Barcelona will need to make up their mind as to what they will want to do with the striker who was expected to be a great addition to the club but unfortunately did not perform to many expectations last season.
Mino Raiola, Ibra’s agent, has said before that his player (Ibrahimovic) will be staying at Camp Nou this season regardless of other offers that maybe coming in but Pep Guardiola has yet to speak about his future and at this point anything can happen. When asked if he will be joining Milan this season, President of Inter Milan, Silvio Berlusconi, went on to say the following – “Who knows?”.
