Griezmann stroked Atletico ahead in the first half but Arnaut Danjuma levelled matters before the break.
Diego Simeone’s side pressed and were rewarded when Griezmann drilled home his second from Diego Costa’s pass. Koke then sealed the win from Griezmann’s assist in injury time.
Afterwards Griezmann admitted he ‘dreams’ of winning the Ballon d’Or but wants to keep improving:
“I want to know how good I can be.”
“My only focus is to keep improving and helping the team,” Griezmann is cited as telling reporters by Marca.
“I know I can still improve my game a lot, I think that is what I am doing at the moment and hopefully this will benefit me.
“I want to know how good I can be, what my ceiling is. Do I dream about winning the Ballon d’Or? I dream about everything.
“Club Brugges were a tough opponent, we suffered in the first half but we improved after the break after Simeone’s team talk.
“Now we are more relaxed in the group ahead of two tough games against Borussia Dortmund.”
