2009 LLTO La Liga Awards: Preview

Another outstanding La Liga Primera Division season has come to a close and now the time has come to praise the league’s best players and clubs with our very own first annual 2009 LLTO La Liga Awards Show.

I think it is hard to say that any other league was as great as La Liga was this year.  They had arguably the best overall squad this season with Champions League winners Barcelona.  They also had, statistically, the best goal scorers in the world playing in their league this season as well.  And it seems like the way things are going, La Liga will remain the best league in the world next season.  All the world’s best want to play in Spain and so far it seems like La Liga has dominated the transfers this offseason with huge signings like Christiano Ronaldo and Kaka.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves yet.  This awards show isn’t about what’s going down right now, but what happened all of last season.  So please stick around and keep up to date with who was the best and worst performers of the 2008/2009 season.  It was a special year for Barca and congrats for being the world’s best.

And now let’s unroll the red carpet and introduce the potential awards for the upcoming LLTO Awards Show.
