Real Madrid once again have to close their ambition in winning the Champions League, as Jose Mourinho’s squad dramatically eliminated by Baryern Munich at Santiago Bernebau.

The match ended in a 2-1 scoreline for Los Blancos, forcing a penalty shoot out which turned out to be hell for Madrid players as they missed all but one spot kick by Xabi Alonso.

Barcelona‘s failure in reaching the Champions League final along with their league defeat against Real Madrid previously, could very well lead into a certain important decision made by the club’s management including their tactician, Pep Guardiola.

This indication was hinted by Guardiola himself, who during the press conference after the game between Barcelona against Chelsea, admitted that he will held talks with the Catalan’s management to discuss about his and the club’s future.

Iniesta Believes Barcelona Will Bounce Back Soon

Andres Iniesta was truly disappointed with Barcelona‘s failure in reaching the Champions League final after being eliminated by Chelsea, but the Spanish international midfielder believes that his team will come back stronger after this current slump.

Just like some of his teammates, Iniesta also believes that Barca‘s elimination from Chelsea was not a fair result for them, considering how dominate they were in the two legs, but he believes this situation will eventually be solved by them.

Barcelona‘s right back, Danni Alves believes luck was simply the one thing that getting in the way of his team’s effort against Chelsea in the Champions League semifinal.

Alves claimed that his team have more than enough chance to actually overcome the Blues’ resistance in both home and away matches, but their failure in converting those opportunities in the decided the outcome for Pep Guardiola’s boys.

Guardiola: It Wasn’t Barcelona’s Time

Barcelona‘s elimination from the Champions League by Chelsea obviously add a bitter taste for the Catalan side, especially their tactician, Pep Guardiola, who ahead of the second leg clash was very confident over his team.

However, the tactician simply believed that this season might not really be theirs as nothing seems to go as plan, including their difficulties in chasing Real Madrid for the La Liga crown, which almost certainly will fly to Jose Mourinho’s team by the end of season.

Barcelona‘s bad run still continue this midweek as they once gain said goodbye to one of their trophies target after failing to overcome Chelsea in front of their packed house at Camp Now.

Seeking at least two goals to overturn their 1-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge, Guardiola’s team pretty much failed badly as they only managed to get a 2-2 draw, despite the fact that the Blues were playing with only 10-men for the larger part of the game.

Real Madrid‘s recent La Liga success in beating Barcelona 2-1 at Camp Nou notably give a strong sense of confidence for Jose Mourinho’s side ahead of their upcoming Champions League‘s second tie against Bayern.

Mourinho himself stated that considering his squad’s performance this season, getting into the final would be something they deserved and obviously will target after already looking home and dry in clinging the league title.

Giuseppe Rossi Set to Out for 10 Months

Bad luck never seems to stop arriving for Villarreal striker, Giuseppe Rossi, this season as the latest reports suggesting that he might need longer time to recover from his second ligament injury from the previously predicted six months.

According to reports, Rossi will most likely rest for about 10 months because of his current recurring injury because he apparently must get a second surgery after facing the first one last Friday.

Barcelona‘s star midfielder, Xavi Hernandez, once again asked his team’s faithful to continue their massive support for Barca‘s upcoming Champions League semifinal clash against Chelsea at Camp Nou.

Xavi understand that there’s still some bitterness felt by the fans especially after El Classico result this weekend, but the Spanish international believes that a strong support will carry Pep Guardiola’s squad back on winning ways.
