The world’s biggest game is coming to the US this summer the Clasico is set to be played outside Spain for the first time as La Liga title rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid are set to meet each other in Miami this summer, according to reports in Catalonia. Barca have not yet announced their plans for the offseason but sources confirmed to ESPN FC that the club plan to visit the United States once again, with an official announcement expected on March 21.
Spanish radio station RAC1 earlier reported that Barca will face Madrid on July 29 as part of an American tour which will also see them play Juventus in New York on July 22 and Manchester United in Washington on July 25.
All three games will be part of the International Champions Cup (ICC), which takes place each preseason across America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.
However, in 2015 they played three games in the United States, against LA Galaxy, Man Utd and Chelsea, with a fourth game against Fiorentina in Europe, echoing their plans for this summer.
In addition to playing in the Clasico, Real Madrid, who will be based in the Orlando area and play at least once game at the Camping World Stadium in 2017 are also expected to play the MLS All-Stars in Chicago this summer.
